ROOM Automation is near completion on the latest project in Hendra. The client requested a whole house automation system with remote access. This included Lighting, Fan & Blind control as well as Audio Visual, Security, Surround Sound & full Wi-Fi & Network distribution. The project is due to be completed within the next week for handover & customer education.
Recent project: Twin Waters – The Sebel
A retro fit of an existing beachfront home at Twin Waters has been completed. With a new Smart Television and Surround sound setup in there home!
Control4 Automation was used to bring this beautiful home up to date. The main living room AV system is now a breeze to operate giving the owners a taste of Smart Home technology. More improvements are now planned to integrate CCTV, AV Intercom & Control4 touch screen on all 3 levels.

Outdoor Security Cameras Mooloolaba
Current project underway by ROOM Automation at The Wharf Mooloolaba
Managements brief :•CCTV Security Cameras to be upgraded an unified •Remote Access to Security Cameras•Footage to be viewable on Smart phones, tablets & pc’s•Network Video Recorder to be re-located to a more convenient central position within the Wharf complex•9 additional cameras to be added to the project bringing the total up to 24 cameras.
The installation of Outdoor Security Cameras Mooloolaba will include a full re-design of the Camera network, POE Gigabyte Network switches, a Ubiquiti Wireless-link, 24 x Hikvision 4K Security Cameras and Hikvision 32 channel (NVR) Network Video Recorder.The project is now underway and completion is forecast for mid January.
A recent project by ROOM Automation is Lighting Control & Automation Noosaville underway on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
The clients brief was to design and install a fully functioning Automation system incorporating:
•CCTV Security Cameras
•AV Intercom
•Remote Access Control
•Existing Sonos Sound System
•Wall mount Televisions
•3 Zones of Lighting Control
•Simplistic Control.
The project is nearing completion and our technicians are undertaking preliminary testing.Control 4 Automation has been installed as the umbrella control system over the top of all components within the project.The existing Sonos system will be integrated and re-used as the music system and audio end points for the Afresco & Living Room.The Intercom & CCTV Security System are now up and running, set to “recording on motion” with Pedestrian & Motor vehicle Gate Control to be integrated once gates are installed.
The project is on track to be completed before Christmas
and our clients are excited to get their hands on the Touchscreen, take control and have some fun over the festive season!!!!
